Agreement
By creating an account or using BYOKBOT, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Service description
BYOKBOT hosts embeddable AI chatbots. You provide your own API keys from supported LLM providers and pay those providers directly for model usage. BYOKBOT charges separately for platform hosting as described on our pricing page.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content in your knowledge base and chatbot responses shown to your visitors.
- You must comply with applicable laws, including privacy regulations for visitor data you collect.
- You must keep API keys and integration credentials secure and rotate them if compromised.
- You may not use the service for spam, abuse, illegal activity, or attempts to bypass security controls.
Acceptable use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, generate excessive load, or pose security risks. Sandbox/demo mode is provided for evaluation; production use requires valid API keys where applicable.
Availability & disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. LLM output may be inaccurate; you should not rely on chatbots for legal, medical, or financial advice without human review.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BYOKBOT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including costs from third-party API usage or data loss.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notice where practicable.
